Summer of Fun at Three Circles

Celebrating a Record-Breaking Summer of Fun at Three Circles Fostering!

This summer has been nothing short of incredible for our Three Circles family! With a record-breaking six amazing events, we’ve shared fun, adventure, and incredible memories with our wonderful foster families. From picnics to canoeing and waterslides, it’s been a summer to remember! Let’s look back at the highlights of our summer adventures.

1. Otterspool Adventure Centre, Liverpool

Date: Saturday, 3rd August

We kicked off the summer at Otterspool Adventure Centre, where our foster families enjoyed a fun-filled day in the play barn, holding guinea pigs, bouncing on marshmallow mounds, zipping around in mini land rovers, and playing in the sand pit. The day was full of excitement and laughter, making it a perfect start to the summer.

2. Exodus

Date: Monday, 12th August

We had an amazing day at Exodus Project full of fun activities like last man standing, waterslides, pond activities, a scenic train ride, and an inflatable obstacle course, followed by a delicious Summer lunch. We thought the weather was going to be against us when the rain fell but soon enough the clouds parted and we were treated to a lovely Summer’s afternoon!

3. Aqua Park at Manley Mere

Date: Wednesday, 14th August

Next, we faced our fears at the Aqua Park in Manley Mere, flying off the trapeze into the lake, balancing on the inflatable equipment, and sliding into the water. With beautiful weather and adventurous spirits, it was a day of bravery and bonding that left everyone with big smiles and amazing memories.

4. Big Get-Together at Heaton Park

Date: Saturday, 17th August

Heaton Park brought us together for a big day of family fun! We gathered in the play area and enjoyed cricket, kite-flying, croquet, football, and more. We also took a scenic walk around the grounds and visited the petting zoo, making it a day filled with laughter, fresh air, and the joy of simply being together.

5. Watersports Day at Debdale Water Park, Manchester

Date: Wednesday, 28th August

At Debdale Water Park, the children had the chance to try canoeing, powerboats, and, of course, jump into the lake! This day was all about embracing adventure and building confidence on the water. The children and carers both enjoyed an action-packed day, filled with excitement and a sense of achievement.

6. Picnic & Walk at Newmillerdam

Date: Monday, 26th August

To close out our summer, we gathered at Newmillerdam for a peaceful picnic and a scenic walk around the dam. Families relaxed, connected, and enjoyed the serene beauty of nature. It was a lovely, calm way to reflect on the incredible experiences we shared throughout the summer.

The Importance of Our Summer Events

At Three Circles, these events are more than just days out – they are vital opportunities for children and carers to bond, build friendships, and create lasting memories. For the children, it’s a chance to experience new things, overcome fears, and feel part of a supportive community. For our carers, it’s an opportunity to connect with each other, share experiences, and enjoy quality time with the children they care for.

We believe that fostering is not just about providing a home – it’s about creating a family. These events help us foster that sense of belonging and joy in each family, and they remain an integral part of what makes Three Circles so special.

What’s Next?

Though our summer events have come to an end, we’re already looking forward to our next adventure, we are going ice skating in October and we are already busy planning out amazing Xmas parties.

Thank You, Three Circles Families!

We want to say a huge thank you to all of our foster families for their enthusiasm and commitment to making this Summer so special. We can’t wait to see you again at our future events and continue making unforgettable memories together.
