Mental Health Awareness Week 2024

As Mental Health Awareness Week approaches, it's crucial to shine a light on the importance of mental well-being, especially for children and young people in foster care. At Three Circles, we are committed to providing a nurturing environment for our foster children in the North West and Yorkshire. In this blog post, we'll explore the significance of mental health awareness in fostering, suggest valuable resources for children and carers, and offer top tips for supporting mental wellness.

Why mental health awareness matters: Supporting a child's mental health is just as vital as their physical health. Children in foster care often face unique challenges that can impact their emotional well-being. From navigating changes in living arrangements to processing past traumas, fostering a positive mental outlook is essential for their overall development and resilience.
